TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 2, 2008 & THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2008- 8:00PM
FINAL AUDITIONS:
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2008 - 6:00PM (REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 5:00PM)

-AUDITIONS-
Q: When are the auditions for the Team Millennia 2008-2009 team?
A: -TM auditions workshops are on Tuesday, Sep. 2nd @ 8pm and Thursday, Sep. 4th @ 8pm (TM Dance Center).
-Final auditions are on Sunday, September 7th @ 6PM (Cal State Fullerton).
-Final interviews will be held on Monday, Sep. 9th @ 8PM (TM Dance Center).
-Final team rosters will be posted via website (www.tmdance.org) on Tuesday, Sep. 10th.
Q: How old do you need to be to tryout or become a member of Team Millennia?
A: You must be at least 18 years of age or an incoming college freshman.
Q: Does it cost money to tryout for Team Millennia?
A: There will be a $20 registration fee for TM auditions. This $20 fee includes attendance at both audition workshops and the final audition.
Q: What happens to the $20 fee if I don’t make Team Millennia?
A: Unfortunately, if you do not make Team Millennia, the $20 fee goes to pay for the audition expenses of next year’s team. If you DO make TM, then you’re $20 goes into the overall TM account, which pays for choreographer fees etc….
Q: Who are the choreographers for the audition?
A: *Tuesday, Sep. 2nd – Jay Laxamana (TM Co-Captain)
*Thursday, Sep. 4th – David Yi (TM Co-captain)
Q: What dance classes or training should I be attending to help better prepare me for these auditions?
A: *Pre-audition workshop - Sunday, Aug. 31st @ 8PM – Austin Fernandez (TM Creative Head)
Q: Do I have to choreograph for the audition?
A: You and a group (5 maximum including yourself) will have to choreograph a total of 4 eight counts to a piece of music chosen by the TM board. Mix will be released on the first day of auditions and will be available to download: www.tmdance.org .
Q: Who judges the auditions?
A: The auditions will be judged by TM’s new executive board for the 2008-2009 season.
Q: What can set me a part from the other dancers at the audition?
A: Professionalism, dress, confidence, and a SOLID FREESTYLE will set you a part from the other dancers. Speaking and acting professionally, dressing with style, maintaining confidence, and performing a solid freestyle will open the judges’ eyes and opinions of you during the entire audition process.
Q: Are there any other expenses or important dates I should know about before I audition?
A: TM Dance camp costs $50 for each dancer and the date and location are to be announced at a later date. This event is a mandatory!!!
Q: What is TM Dance Camp?
A: TM Dance Camp is a team retreat held at an undisclosed venue. This retreat is where the dancers get to know one another, the board, directors, owners, and alumni. It is the first bonding experience for the new team and their new TM family.
Q: How many dancers will Team Millennia need for the 2007-2008 season?
A: Last year we had 36 dancers (18 boys and 18 girls). This year we are looking for about 36 – 38 dancers.
-TEAM MILLENNIA (TM)-
Q: When does TM rehearse?
A: TM rehearses every Thursday @ 8pm – 11pm and Sunday @ 6pm – 10pm. We will add Tuesday night rehearsals (8pm – 11pm) during the week of a major show or competition.
Q: What competitions does TM enter during the season?
A: TM is tentatively scheduled to compete at Vibe, Fusion, and Body Rock dance competitions.
We will host and perform at Prelude Norcal (Nov.), Prelude Socal-Modern Division(Dec.), Prelude Socal-Future Division (Dec.), and Prelude East Coast (April).
Q: How long is the season for Team Millennia?
A: It begins in early September and the competition season ends in early June (the day after Body Rock). The actual TM season is year-round (starting in September and ending in late August).

-RULES AND REGULATIONS-
Q: Do you need to attend Cal State Fullerton?
A: You do NOT need to be a student at Cal State Fullerton. We take dancers from all over Southern California.
Q: Do you have to have a certain GPA to maintain your status on TM?
A: We believe that school comes first, but do not require you to maintain a certain GPA. As a young adult, your actions are a result of your own decisions.
